  • Im not usually afraid of heights but this hike down from Machu Pichu Mountain made me a little nervous. You see, every turn looked straight down for thousands of feet. No trees to help "box you in" and as you can see in this photo - if you trip ... well.... its hard to see in the photos because they truly don't show how steep it was - but you did not want to trip.

  • This is the Lama that was out to get me. While in Machu Picchu the Lamas were on the move. It was near the end of the day and we were walking down a set of stais when a group of Lamas decided to make their way up the stairs. Well the group of people walking down all stopped and most of us moved to the side to let them by. I of course Photogrpahed them as they made there way up. Well while just looking through the lens this Lama walked right into me - you know the saying on the mirror - "Objects maybe closer then they appear - yep....

  • Peru is covered with these outside stores or shops. Im not sure how any of them make any money since they were everywhere - all selling the same thing.
  • As I was walking around Cusco I couldnt help but photograph this lady with her Lama. The Lama perked up when it saw my camera as if it was ready for a photo shoot. or maybe ready to eat my camera...
  • In this panorama I tried to show Machu Picchu and Aguas Calientes and the depth of the mountains as well as the sheer steepness. This Photo was taken at close to 13 thousand feet.
